Kid's Cooking Contest and Kids Art Show
We believe in kids of all ages! We believe that they are creative and inspiring and able to do more than anyone has ever imagined! Kids Can Cook is a fundraiser for Elkhart Life Kids, a ministry of Elkhart Life. Kids from ages 4-12 prepare their favorite dish (they MUST do 80% of the work!) and present it to our guests to taste! Our guests will receive voting tokens, and they can cast their vote for their favorite dish...or favorite dishes!
The Art Auction follows immediately after Kids Can Cook, where we will auction off kid-created pieces of art to the highest bidder.
A free will donation allows you to taste everything and cast your votes!
At Elkhart Life, we love kids.
We have kid-centric services for ages 4-12 every Wednesday night throughout the school year. Meeting in the lower level, our time with your children is more than just babysitting- it's an opportunity for kids to worship and connect with God at their level. Our goal is to make God's word come alive for kids, while equipping them to "learn and grow in Life with Jesus".
The staff of Elkhart Life Kids is fully trained, background-checked, and equipped to love and serve children from all walks of life and abilities.
A few of the things you can count on happening every Wednesday are:
- Dinner provided to our students at no cost
- Parent follow-up and information sheet sent home every week
- A safe and secure facility, complete with check in and out procedures
- Lots of love, fun and lifelong friends just waiting to welcome your kiddos!
